My Art Response to the Wigram Air Force Museum.

On Monday our class went to the Air Force Museum. We talked about WWI and WWII. I painted a picture of a battlefield. It was the Germans against Britain and lots of other countries. My painting shows them hiding behind their trenches. There is barbed wire and sandbags. The bit in the middle is No Man's Land. I liked the Museum, especially all the aeroplanes.

  1. Hunter what an awesome response to the Museum Visit. This painting clearly shows no mans land and the soldiers in the trench. I enjoyed looking at all the planes and listening to the stories Chris shared as well. Well done on posting your photo so quickly after finishing!

  2. That is a fantastic drawing of a battlefield Hunter. I really like the barbed wire. It must have been very scarey for the British soilders in the trenches fighting the Germans. What does "No Man's Land" mean.

  4. This is a very moving drawing Hunter. You have shown both the setting out of a battlefield and the idea of death. Do you think that the new ways of fighting wars with drones and missiles are any better than the old ways of shooting at each other in trenches? I look forward to your next blog post.
